I had a bunch of 80's and 90's Classic adult films i wanted to digitize. Unfortunately they all got thrown in the trash when someone at my parents house was cleaning out the attic. Oh well. Thankfully I found most of them on a few sites I am not going to post links to here. If you've been on the internet for more than an hour, you should know how to do a Google search.
Linked above (and below) is Michael Lynch's quest to digitize 45 video tapes. The technology is definitely out there. I used to capture camcorder video to my computer via a vcr and rca cables in the Internet 1.0 era. Check out his process.
