I absolutely loved this car. To this day, people who I don't know, know who I am because of this car. Random people approach me in gas stations all over Sullivan and Orange county and say, "Hey, you're the guy who had that purple neon right?"
I invested all my money into it. Total engine rebuild, suspension mods, weight reduction. All of it. The only thing I regret not doing was the manual transmission swap. I had all the parts, just never got around to it.
