I KNEW IT!!!

RIGGED AFTER ALL!

We all had that feeling, but no way to know for sure back then. I feel so violated right now. I vividly remember the summer of 1990. I ripped open the wrapper to what resembled a NES game box, based on the dimensions of course. I had been waiting patiently for this one. Everyone my age had seen "The Wizard" in theaters and either just got, or was getting their hands on SMB3 in the near future.

The game was unlike nothing we ever saw prior. It changed everything about the 2D platform genre.

But cmon now Nintendo. You just HAD to go and cheat the kids out of those 1-Ups, didn't you... For shame, FOR SHAME!
